What Makes BridgEd Therapy Different
Tutoring focuses on academic support. Educational Therapy goes deeper, addressing the root causes behind learning struggles. At BridgEd, we use research-based methods to strengthen how the brain processes, organizes, and applies information. The result isn’t just better grades, but lasting change in how your child learns and sees themselves as a capable learner.

Meet Chelsea
Chelsea, our Educational Therapist, brings a powerful perspective to her work with students. Diagnosed with dyslexia as a child, Chelsea always struggled to keep up with her peers in school.

Her reading was four grade levels below average, and she required an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). She felt embarrassed to ask for help, afraid it meant she wasn’t smart enough. Those experiences shaped who she is as an educator today.

HBA M.Ed
Driven by her own challenges with a learning disability, Chelsea developed a unique ability to connect with students who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or misunderstood. Chelsea earned an Honours Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Trent University, followed by a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology from McGill University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA.

Today, Chelsea uses both her personal journey and professional training to guide students through Educational Therapy. Chelsea believes that every student learns differently and deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated. Her mission is to ensure that every student she works with not only succeeds in school but also knows that they are capable of achieving anything they set their minds to.

Parent Testimonials
Before we started seeing Chelsea, my daughter would cry over homework and come home from school in tears. I felt helpless, I didn’t know how to help her.
Now with the support of Educational Therapy, she comes home excited to tell me how she’s doing. She has found joy in learning, something I really never thought I’d see.
— Mother of a 3rd grader
My daughter was diagnosed with a math learning disorder and executive dysfunction. By the grace of God, I came across Chelsea Tannahill’s name online. I can not tell you enough what a godsend she has been to my daughter. Not only is my daughter acing her geometry class this year, she’s also successfully completed 5 dual credit classes this year. If you have ever considered educational therapy or need educational support for your child, no matter the age, I HIGHLY recommend BridgeEd.

-Mother of a high school student
My son has dyslexia. We tried a few tutors, but nothing truly stuck.
After just a few months with Chelsea, he asked me if I could buy him a book...for the first time ever! Now, he’s not only reading successfully, he enjoys it.
It’s truly remarkable what Chelsea was able to do with him.
